What exactly is a photo challenge?
A photo challenge is a creative photo task for your wedding guests. You create different challenges like "Photograph the wedding rings" or "Take a selfie with the bride and groom." The tasks are printed as cards with QR codes and placed on the tables. Your guests scan the QR code, see the task, and upload their photo right away.
Do our guests need an app?
No, your guests don't need an app or an account. They simply scan the QR code on the card with their regular phone camera. A webpage opens where they can see the challenge and upload their photo directly. It works on any smartphone — iPhone, Android, old or new.
How do I print the cards?
After creating your challenges, you can print the cards directly from your browser. The cards are optimized for A4 paper — two cards always fit side by side. Our tip: Use slightly thicker paper (160gsm+) for a more premium feel and cut the cards along the dashed lines.
How many challenges should we create?
We recommend 8 to 15 different challenges. This way each table has a different task and you get a lovely variety of photos. You can also print cards multiple times if you have more tables than challenges.
Is PhotoChallenge.wedding really free?

Where are the photos stored?
All photos are securely stored on our server in the EU. After the wedding, you can access all photos at any time via your admin link. Your guests can also view the photos through the gallery link and relive the most beautiful moments.
Can I edit the challenges later?
Yes, you can add, edit, or delete challenges at any time via your personal admin link. Important: Keep your admin link safe — it is shown to you when you create your challenges and is also printed on the last page.
Does it work without Wi-Fi at the venue?
Your guests need an internet connection to upload photos. Most wedding venues have Wi-Fi — just check in advance to be sure. Alternatively, it also works via mobile data (4G/5G).
