Most couples ask the same question: how many photo challenges do we actually need? Too few and the gallery feels thin; too many and guests freeze. This planner does the math: it takes your guest and table count, factors in the vibe of your day, and recommends a print-ready mix from our 55-prompt library.

Plan your photo challenge

Three numbers, one curated prompt list. No sign-up.

Rules of thumb

  • Roughly one prompt per 2 guests. 60 guests → ~30 prompts; 150 guests → ~75. Below half-per-guest the gallery gets repetitive; above one-per-guest most couples don't get the extra variety.
  • One card per table is the floor. A more individual feel: a card at each place setting, like a tiny scavenger hunt.
  • Print extras. Cards walk off as souvenirs. Add 2 spare copies per prompt, or 20 % of the card count, whichever is larger.
  • Mix categories. A balanced mix beats five photos of the bouquet.

Common questions

How many wedding photo challenges should we create?

Plan roughly one unique prompt per 2 guests. A 60-guest wedding ends up at 30-40 prompts; a 150-guest wedding at 60-80; a 250-guest wedding at 100-150. Anything below half-per-guest and the album fills up with five duplicates of the same cake shot.

Why do I need extra printed cards?

Cards routinely vanish into pockets and clutch bags as souvenirs. Print 2 spares per challenge, or 20 % of the table count, whichever is higher.

Can I edit the prompt list after using this planner?

Yes. The planner only suggests a starting set. After clicking through to create your challenge, you can add, remove or rewrite any prompt before printing.
